Dr. Sharkey said that Maggie looked great.  Her echo showed that she has good heart function, no leaky valves, and no narrowing of her aortic arch.  She has put off some collateral vessels, but her oxygen saturations were really good (actually higher than most Glenn kiddos) so she is going to wait on the cardiac cath!  The soonest she will have her Fontann surgery will be later next summer and it could be later than that.  If her oxygen saturations start dropping before then, they would go ahead and do a cardiac cath.

So, I guess this is a good report.  While I am dreading the next surgery, part of me would really like to get it over with.  It would be nice to do it before she is old enough to remember it.  However, I am so thankful that Maggie is doing so well.  God has really been taking care of her and it is a true blessing.  So, that's all I know for now.  One appointment down, one more to go.

Be praying that the insurance company approves Maggie for one more year of Synagis injections.  This is the shot that helps protect her from RSV.  Last year, we fought with them over it towards the end of the season.
